The API Credentials function allows your shipping company to communicate with developers by giving them access to your existing crewing systems and recruitment software. This allows those systems to then work flawlessly with Martide’s maritime recruitment and crew planning platform. Here’s how to do that.

How to use API Credentials

Log in to your Martide account and click on Settings in the drop down menu under your profile picture and then on API Credentials:

When you click on API Credentials you will see this page:

Here you can:

• Add a new API access key by clicking the blue Add new API access key button
• Sort your API access keys alphabetically or numerically by clicking the 3 lines next to Name.

When you click the Add new API access key button you will see this pop-up box:

• Enter the name of the API access key
• Select the department in your company in the drop down box
• Click Save when you're done

For example:

You will then see this:

To copy the API access key to send it to your developer, click the access key's name on the main page. You will then see this:

Copy the token to send to your developer by clicking the blue Copy token button.

Note: You can create as many API access keys as you like.
