What are Supporters?

Normally if you offer crewing services your client can see, but not edit or approve, any or all of the Stages of a Recruitment Pipeline. The Supporters function lets you override this so you can offer clients a more hands on approach. This can be at any stage in the Pipeline, or just at the end when it comes to making the final call on whether or not to hire a candidate.

To get started log in to your Martide account. Click on your profile picture in the top right hand corner. You will see a drop down menu: click Settings and then Supporters:

You will then see this page:

Here you can:

  • Create a new Supporter.
  • Delete an existing Supporter.

How to create a new Supporter

Click the blue Create Supporter button in the top right corner.

You will see a page that looks like this:

Here you can:

  • Select the vessel.
  • Select the Supporter (company).
  • Click Save when you’re done.

Notes about Supporters

Your Supporter will need to have created an account with Martide so their company name and vessel(s) appear in the drop down boxes.

When you want to give a Supporter access to the Pipeline you need to make sure the Outsource Supporter function is turned on. You will see this option when you add a new Stage to the Pipeline under Settings > Pipelines.

For example, if you want a Supporter to take care of booking travel for your hired candidate, when you add the Flights Stage to your Recruitment Pipeline make sure the Outsource Supporter is showing green - this indicates it is turned on:
