Vessel Map

The Vessel Map feature lets you see where your vessels are and which seafarers are onboard them. 

 Log into Martide and click Vessel Map in the menu on the left. You will go to this page: 

 

 

Here you can: 

• See where your vessels currently are: the blue arrows represent your fleet. 

• Hover over an arrow to see the vessel’s name. 

• Click on an arrow and it will open a side panel with the vessel’s name, an image of it (if available), the coordinates, the number of seafarers onboard, and a list of those seafarers. 

• Click on a seafarer’s name in the list to view more information about them, including their name, rank, contact info, manning agent, and last five employments. Click on their name again here and you will go to their seafarer profile page. 

• Use the Vessel drop down box to find a vessel. When you click its name in the list you will be taken to its position on the map and the side panel with that vessel’s info will open. 

• Use the Seafarer drop down box to find a seafarer. When you click their name in the list you will be taken to their vessel's position on the map and the side panel with that seafarer’s info will open. 

• Manually move the map by clicking on it and dragging the cursor across. 

 

For example, we have clicked on a seafarer’s name in the Seafarer drop down box and now we can see this: 

 

 

This took us across the map to where his vessel, The Endeavor, is located off the coast of China and we can see his personal information in the panel on the left. Scroll down to see the manning agent and his last five employments.
