Gretimybe was founded in 1997 by a group of specialists experienced in crewing, shipping and sea business. Today Gretimybe is the biggest crewing company in the Baltic States. They are Government licensed: the Lithuanian Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance issued permission to the company to act as an intermediary between shipowners and ship managers, and the seafarers from Lithuania and abroad that are employed on different types of vessels and off-shore projects. Qualified employees provide high quality service for Gretimybe’s partners. The company accepts all possible cooperation and in 2000 they signed a contract with Global Petroprojects Services AG (Saipem Group). This presented a new opportunity for employing seamen and other specialists on offshore vessels.
