Martide and our partners are seeking a reliable and experienced Nurse to join their onboard medical team. As a Nurse on a cruise ship or passenger ship, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to crew members and passengers while at sea. Working under the supervision of the Ship’s Doctor (if present) or independently on smaller vessels, your job includes managing routine medical needs, responding to emergencies, maintaining medical supplies, and ensuring compliance with maritime health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities generally include:

• Provide first aid and emergency medical treatment to crew and passengers. 

• Assist the Ship’s Doctor with daily medical consultations and procedures. 

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. 

• Manage and restock the ship’s medical supplies and equipment. 

• Conduct health checks, vaccinations, and wellness assessments. 

• Support infection control and hygiene standards throughout the vessel. 

• Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, including during evacuations or at-sea incidents. 

• Educate crew members on health, safety, and preventative care practices. 

• Ensure compliance with maritime medical regulations and company health policies.
