Deduction Types

In Martide Deduction Types lets you add different way in which your seafarers have spent their wages in advance, for example, in the slop chest or on phone cards. 

Log into Martide and click Settings under your profile icon and then Deduction Types:

The Deduction Types page looks like this:

Here you can:

• Add a new Deduction Type
• Click the pen icon to edit an existing Deduction Type

How to add a new Deduction Type

Click the Add Deduction Type button. You will see this pop-up box. Enter the type of deduction you want to add and the GL (general ledge) code. For example:

Click Save. Your Deduction Type now appears on the main page:
