Deduction Types

In Martide there is a section called Payroll with various functions within it. One of these functions is Deduction Types. This allows you to add different methods in which your seafarers spend their wages - for example, in the slop chest. 

Where to find Deduction Types

Log into your Martide account and click on Settings under your profile icon and then on Deduction Types:

The Deduction Types page looks like this:

Here you can:

• Add a new Deduction Type
• Edit existing Deduction Types

How to add a new Deduction Type

Click the Add Deduction Type button. You will see this pop-up box:

Enter the type of deduction that you want to add into the Deduction Type box, for example:

Click Save. Your Deduction Type now appears on the main page:

How to edit a Deduction Type

Click the pen icon next to the Deduction Type you want to change:

A pop-up box will open with the Deduction Type’s name in the box. Change it to whatever you want.
